Yet another development on it’s way to the Yonge and Eglington area is Neon. You would think there is little room left here to develop, and you wouldn’t be too far from the truth. Named after the nighttime scenery in the area, Neon will stand 20 storeys tall upon completion, and due to it’s proximity to TTC and the shops/restaurants of the Yonge and Eglington area, this will be yet another highly sought after place to live. The reality of the matter is that building space is quickly becoming scarce in these areas as builders snatch up what’s left, and plan projects. Scheduled for occupancy in Spring of 2013, Neon promises to be a “A sleek, modern condominium residence that combines luxury living with an unbeatable location and fine lifestyle amenities”. Parking spots in this area can be difficult to come by, and thus quite expensive, so we feel these types of buildings are perfect for the younger couple who do not mind the 3 minute walk to the subway, or renting the Zipcar on the weekends for running errands. Stay tuned for more updates!
